The Dr Browns 'Speciality Feeding System' is designed for babies with sucking difficulties, such as babies born with a cleft palate. The unique 'infant-paced feeding valve' allows the baby to have more control over the flow of milk.

Size
- Small bottles are 4oz (US); Large bottles are 8oz (US). PLEASE NOTE that US fluid ounces are around 4% larger than Imperial (UK) ounces. The 'ml' measurements are identical in the US and UK.
- The bottle is 'standard-necked'; many bottles sold in the UK are 'wide-necked', so please check any sterilisers or other equipment to ensure this bottle will fit.
- The bottle without the collar or cap is approximately 17cm tall with a diameter of 6cm. With the collar and cap attached, it is approximately 20.5cm tall.
Care instructions: This bottle can be steam-sterilised but the markings on the outside may last longer using a cold sterilisation system. Avoid rough scrubbing of the outside of the bottle.
Colour: The bottle is clear; the collar, disc and cap are all white. The colour of the cap may vary depending on our stock.
Buying Dr Brown's bottles and teats from other websites
The 'Dr. Brown's Speciality Feeding System' supplied by CLAPA contain the blue 'infant-paced feeding valves' which allow these bottles to work as designed for babies with sucking difficulties. Other Dr. Brown's bottles may look the same (such as their 'Options' or 'Anti-Colic' bottles), but they do not contain the infant-paced feeding valve.
When searching for these bottles on other websites, make sure they are listed as the 'Speciality Feeding System' and contain the special valves, or else the bottles and teats may not work for your baby.
